FLEET OF TRUCKS

CATALAN TRANSPORTS has an extensive fleet of trucks with over 280 semi-trucks, all of which are equipped with a telephone and GPS system. These systems enable us to be in constant contact with our vehicles in order to follow up on the merchandise being shipped at any time.

GPS | POSITIONING SYSTEM
The innovative GPS system enables us to follow up on the exact position and status of our shipments at any time, all over Europe. It also enables us to carry out an exhaustive control in the event of a mishap that could arise in order to put all of our human and technical resources into resolving the problem.

JUST IN TIME | DELIVERY AND PRODUCTION
Our "Just in Time” system enables us to cover a route that is longer than 1500km in just 24 hours. This is due to the coordination of all of our sectors and the location of our shipping network where we change drivers in specified places in order to give our drivers the proper rest they need and to guarantee your shipment keeps moving.

TRAILERS
MEGA TRAILERS:
We have a total of 300 Tautliner mega semi-trailers available to our clients, each with a load capacity of 101.33m3, measuring 3m high, 2.48m wide, and 13.62m long.
LIGHT MEGA TRAILERS:
Our light mega trailer has a load capacity of up to 26,000 kilos. It has a revolutionary over-elevation of 40cm that optimizes loading and unloading of the merchandise.
RAIL ROUTE:
CATALAN TRANSPORTS has designed a bi-modal trailer: a single, Tautliner mega trailer whose height is adjustable. At the European Shipping Center in Bayonne, the train tracks go all the way to the loading area, enabling us to store the merchandise.

SEMI-TRUCKS
CATALAN TRANSPORTS has a large parking lot with semi-trucks that have been inspected by our own network of mechanics who take care of repairs, service the vehicles, and make sure they are always in top notch condition. We do all of this because we want to improve in the quality of our service at a faster rate.
